What this site knows about you, and how to make it forget.
StoryMaster Games is a small studio run by one person. This page says plainly what storymastergames.com collects, what the game collects, and how to have anything about you removed. It covers the website, the free demo, the full game, our email list, and the Facebook and Instagram accounts we publish to.
The website
The site keeps a simple visit count so I know whether anyone is reading it. It records the page you looked at, the button you clicked, the day, and whether you were on a phone or a computer. It sets no cookie for this and it never records your name, your email, or your exact address on the internet.
The site also carries the Meta pixel, which is Facebook's measurement tag. It tells Facebook that a page was viewed or a form was sent so I can see whether an ad worked. That pixel does set cookies and it does send data to Meta. You can turn that off in your Facebook ad preferences, and a browser set to block trackers stops it entirely. The site works the same either way.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs for a short time, the way every host does.
Your email
If you type your email into a box on this site, it goes to MailerLite, the service that sends our mail, and nowhere else. Every box says what you will get: the demo link, the playtest build, or the occasional news. I send only what you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click ends it.
The game and the demo
Ashe & Granite does not talk to the internet. Your lives, your cards, and your settings are saved on your own computer and stay there. The game sends nothing back to me and asks for nothing from you.
Facebook and Instagram
I publish to our Facebook Page and Instagram account using Meta's own publishing tools. Those tools post on our behalf and show me the same audience totals Meta shows every Page. They give me no data about you as a person, and I collect none from anyone who follows, likes, comments, or messages. Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta does with your activity there.
Deleting your data
The only personal data I can hold about you is an email address you gave me. To have it removed, unsubscribe from any email you received, or write to andre@storymastergames.com with the word delete in the subject. It is gone within seven days and you get one reply saying so. The same address handles any question about this page, including requests about the Facebook and Instagram publishing tools.
Age
Ashe & Granite is for adults. The site and the game are meant for people 18 and over, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone younger.
